Brodie, Ryann, and I went to Miss Wendy's preschool graduation. What a fun "flashback." It was so fun to go and watch all our cute friends! Boy do we love these kids!

Both kids last day of school was today. It is crazy to think I now will have a 1st grader and a 3rd grader. I know I say it a lot, but where does time go?

I am so proud of both my girls. They are amazing students, but even more so amazing kids.

Ryann: Completes Kindergarten.

On her skills assessment she scored (would have scanned it in but it was 2 sides)...

Passes on everything!
49/49 PSF DIBELS (Goal >= 40)
51/51 NWF DIBELS (Goal >= 28) Amazing!!!
DIBELS is how they score reading. She can read very well!
She knows her sight words.
She can write numbers up to 30!
She is already doing subtraction.

Her teacher said, "Ryann is such a sweetheart! She is a super student. I have enjoyed having her in my class this year."

I am so very proud!

Both girls did really good at soccer this year.

We may have to do this again.

The good news is I have learned a lot this year.

There is no hoop/basket in soccer.
I know what a goal kick is.
Corner kick. Yep know that too.
My kid squeaks every time she kicks the ball.
Mother Nature hates us.

We could leave our house and have the sun shining and a perfect day, drive the eight miles to the game and get rained out. Weird.

Brodie got her first trophy. This is VERY awesome she has wanted one for a VERY long time.

Ryann's last game was canceled so she should get hers on Wednesday night at her last game.

We went on opening day. It was a "free" day. I cannot wait to go and have to pay, ha. They girls had so much fun. There were just way too many people there. This will be so much fun! A great place to go and get rid of winter fever!

Christmas morning! The girls were spoiled rotten! Santa must have thought they were REALLY good this year! They got new bikes, zoobles, a bunny that plays hide-and-seek, and Grandma and Grandpa Hasse gave them Heelies! They were so excited!

The whole Veater family made it over for Christmas breakfast! Grandpa Veater cooked us all some of his famous sourdough pancakes! It was such a great day together with the family! Just wish Tasha and Cory could have been here then the WHOLE Veater-Hasse family would have been here!

Grandma & Grandpa Veater gave the girls these really cool sleds for Christmas! Grandpa Hasse, Daddy, and Dylan and Cash took the girls sledding on Christmas Eve so they got to open them early!

Sandy went out jeeping with a couple of his friends. It was just a "trail" ride. They had so much fun, but did end up breaking. Chris had to leave his truck on the mountian.

Ryann road up with dad a few days later to help get the truck off the mountain. They got it fixed and drove it off. Ryann looks sad, but truth is she had just woke up :).

Brodie has been trying to learn how to make card houses... she is doing a great job. I cannot get them to stay together at all! BUT she is sooo emotional that when it falls she cries. Yes, she did get that from her mommy.

They were sitting on the end of the couch taking pictures of the other one "flying." They did get some cute pictures. I really love the ones of Brodie's bottom and Ryann's foot. Really? Silly kids.

This was in the back seat of the jeep. They were out with day going on a jeep ride with Daddy. Looks like it was night time. Guess they were bored with looking out into the night. Lol. Love these silly kids!

We had a great Halloween; couples bunco, carving pumpkins, dealership activites, and trick-or-treating!

We went on a jeep ride with the Nelson's. Took the "low rider" up roads that "we could not make even in that jeep" and made it home almost 7 hours later!

The weather was great. The kids kept wanting to get out. They were asking if they could run along the jeep. Brodie bonked her head and got a little shiner. Ryann had her head out of the window and got mud all over her face. Matt and Sandy had a snow fight with Tasia, Brodie, and Ryann while Lauren and I cooked up some burgers.

On the way home, we saw some deer. So cute, the mama and her baby.

It was such a great way to spend a day off of work. I really miss our Sunday Jeep rides; maybe with Sandy on a new M-F schedule we will be able to get out in the Mountains some more!

Thank you to all the friends and family that made Ryann's birthday so great. She had a singing birthday party! Yeah for Karaoke! Cake, icecream, pinata, and presents what more can a girl ask for!

We had her party the weekend before her actual Birthday because Sandy had to work the weekend of her Birthday.

On the day of her Birthday Ryann had mail delivered to her from Papa and Frama Hasse... She was so excited.

Every spring our basement would back up with sewer and every spring Sandy would go down to Home Depot and get a snake and all would be good for a while. This year we had to snake 3-4 times, YUCK.

So we hired a plummer to come and redo out pipes in the front yard. The piece that looks like a T was broken off the part that went to our house.

ALL FIXED NOW!

And my awesome hubby helped the plummer and saved us some $$$!

Ryann started Kindergarten. I am so proud of her. Her teacher is Mrs. Sain. She loves her. The classroom has a reading tent and each student will get to be the ranger (class leader) for a week. This should be a fun year!!

While in Az this last time we went to the lake. We all went on the tube. They girls even went by themselves. They are crazy. Brodie cliff jumped. Cash and his friend Austin both wake boarded at the same time. They tube got some awesome air, but I missed that picture. I did however get this picture of Sandy and Dylan getting some awesome air!

Brodie lost her third tooth while we were there. It was not really ready, but the back flip she did into the pool made it ready. She missed the water but did not miss the ladder. It was so sad. She was like I think I lost my tooth. It was at the bottom of the pool. I seen it down at the bottom and Cash swam down and grabbed it!

Who in the world gave it the name sleepover? More like wakeover ~~~ It was as close to an all-nighter as possible for kids I think. Serrina and Harmony came and stayed the night. They had so much fun and were up until 3 in the morning. I could not believe it. Crazy! I was expecting that they would all sleep in. Nope breakfast was served at 9! Love these girls!

I have a second grader? Really?

Brodie is smart enough to be in about 6th grade. She reads better than I do now. She can do her math homework in no time. She missed 6 spelling words total the whole first grade year. Amazing.

Mrs. Hart was her 1st grade teacher. Brodie wrote her a note at the end of the year asking if she could stay in her class next year too.

Mother's Day Project!!!

Sandy has been working hard on our basement. He has textured and primered the walls so the girls and I got to paint their rooms!! So fun. I think they had fun too. I cannot wait until it is all together.

The girls wanted a new pet. We went to the pet store and came out with two hamsters and all the fixings to make them a great home.

Right when we got them home, I started putting together their home. The girls were holding them and getting to know them. Brodie's got on the floor, went through my arms, between my legs, and past Brodie and finally ended up in a hole underneath out kitchen cabinets. Everyone that knows Brodie, knows she is her mother's daughter when it come to emotions. She started crying and having a come apart, and the worst part is there was nothing I could do but wait until this poor thing came down out of the hole it was in. I felt so bad. She felt worse.

So I called a friend that I knew was in town to go and get me another hamster (THANKS GINA!). She came to the rescue and gave Brodie a new one which Brodie said "is even better than my first one."

Later that night while trying to sleep, I heard something in my closet in my bedroom. Poor Sandy had to work the next day, I spent that whole night tearing up my bedroom. It took me almost an hour but I caught the little guy.

The girls were so happy to wake up to three hamsters the next morning.

Brodie and Ryann picked them out and named them. I am still unsure of the names because, well, they have each had about 6 names each now. Ryann's is sleepy with a nickname of rose, I think. Brodie's are sleepy and runny. Huge fight when we try to figure out which is which. I gave up.

They have been fun. The kids love them and take care of them. Just hope they keep it up!

Hair cuts!

With summer comming we decided to try something new :) We went to the Hair College here in town. They have never had a hair cut at a salon. They were so excited. I think they turned out cute! I hope that Brodie's hair will thicken up after being cut! I just love them both with this cut though. Lets hope it makes mornings a little easier.

On Easter this year, a few of our friends from Richfield (and some from here) came up to go to Three Peaks. It would have been a great day... IF the Enoch wind would have stayed away. It was still a good time. Always is when we are with good friends :). The kids had a great time!

We went to Saint George the weekend of easter. It was our first time which is crazy since we are only about 45 minutes away. It was so beautiful there. I think the kids like to jeep more than we do. They are too cute I have to take pictuers of them, they are kinda sick of me can you tell?

Oh I guess I should put jeeping pics up huh?

Sandy had me drive... I don't drive. I give him a hard time all the time because I say I can do it better then him. Well, I will still do that, but it is so not as easy as it looks. :)

We all did the eggs together this year. Don't tell the girls but I think Sandy and I had more fun then them :) Brodie working hard. Ryann's masterpiece.

Brodie"s birthday.

Now she is 7. Where does the time go? This was the first year I did not make the cake, the piniata, and all that stuff. Kinda sad, but she picked it all out and loved it all! She had so many friends over it was crazy. What a good day it was.

I am so proud of my baby girl.
